Happy New Year!!!

Goodbye-2019-Happy-New-Year-2020-greetings-and-wishes-card-915x515Another year has passed us by again and we are ready to embark on a brand new year. I went into 2019 with high hopes for a better year, but unfortunately, it felt like a repeat of 2017 and 2018 with no noticeable changes. Although the logical part of my brain gets over-run by the illogical part, I would like to believe that no change is far better than dealing with any negative changes.

As I think back on how fast the previous years went by, I feel 2019 went by at lete-review.jpgsupersonic speed! I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason, even if we have to dig a little deeper to identify those reasons. All that we face in life happens exactly when it is supposed to and hold valuable lessons.

At the end of 2019, I would like to ask y’all a few questions!…

  1. Great insight and goals! I have goals at the beginning of this new year to eat better, exercise more, spend less, de clutter….. I also have some goals related to my family life: Simplify life for my parents so that they can enjoy their geriatric years, start working on a post-retirement work plan, work on writing and publishing something. I have goals with the kids: there are a couple concerts we want to attend, take a vacation to Gatlinburg, and tour/investigate some colleges and trade schools.
    Happy New Year!

    • I am so sorry for my extremely late response. Your goals are great and I thank you for sharing! I am going to try to eat better this year because I know my diet hasn’t been all that great! I think your parents will appreciate your goals for helping them enjoy their geriatric years. I want to write more as well and build on my skills. I received something from Writer’s Digest that I am going to try doing, it is 365 writing prompts. I want to try doing this daily because I think it will improve my skills and help me learn. What concerts are you planning to attend? I love music and concerts bring the music alive! You are planning a vacation to Gatlinburg? Is that Gatlinburg TN? College tours and research will be exciting!!! I hope 2020 is a great year for you and your family!

      • Daily writing sounds like a dream🙂 Have fun! Our concert list right now is just The Grand Ole Opry. Little AoA LOVES the old time country music😂 She is an old soul! Last year was a big concert year with 21 Pilots, Kelly Clarkson, Panic at the Disco, and NF, then Fiddler on the Roof! I love performing arts❤️
Gatlinburg TN is the goal- I have started looking at cabin rentals for a few nights!

      • I am so sorry for my delayed response. I hope your next concert is lots of fun!!! WOW last year was a big year for concerts and sounds like a lot of fun! I love Panic at the Disco, they are amazing! One of my all time favorite bands is The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but it might have something to do with my husband proposing on stage with them. They are pretty great!
